Shamrock 'N Run:
Our local REACH Foundation had to postpone their 2020 Shamrock 'N Run event in March. They have rescheduled this event as a virtual run/walk for Oct 4 - 14. This is a family friendly event with $5 of every Fairmont registration going back directly to Fairmont Elementary School. Registration is open through September 30. These 2k and 5ks are open to all ages. Registration is available now on reach4pylusd.org.
Reflections Art Contest:
In addition, if you have an artist in your home, the Reflections Art Contest is available to students from Pk thru Grade 12. The following four grade divisions may be entered through our Fairmont Elementary School PTA - Primary (PK - Grade 2), Intermediate (Grade 3 - 5), Middle School (6 - 8 Grade), and Special Artist (All Grades). Artists may submit their artwork in the following categories - dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts. This year's theme is I MATTER BECAUSE . . . The participant guidelines are attached for interested artists. Entries must be submitted to Fairmont Elementary PTA no later than October 9. Entries will be collected on October 7, 8, and 9 at a Reflections table in front of the Fairmont Front Office between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.
