Dear Fairmont Families,
Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Shawn Knutson Memorial Scholarship fund. If you have not had a chance to participate and show your support, there is still time. Last year, we were able to give six scholarships of $1,000.00 each to former Fairmont students who were graduating high school and beginning their college career. We hope to be able to give an equal number of scholarships to our former students this year. We will be accepting donations until Friday, March 25th.
Please turn in your $1.00 or more in an envelope with your child’s name, teacher, and grade to your teacher by this Friday. If you would like to write a check please make it out to Fairmont PTA-Shawn Knutson Scholarship. Any student who turns in at least $1.00 will be entered into a participation drawing. Students saw many of the amazing prizes at the assembly last week. Winners will be announced March 30th and prize pick up will happen after school on Monday, April 4th.
