Dear Parents,
Students from Esperanza High School’s Teacher Pathway Academy will begin a free tutoring program on Monday, March 15th! Under the direction of Esperanza teacher, Mrs. Bird Potter, the high school students will tutor individuals or small groups in Language Arts and/or Math on Zoom every Monday and Thursday between 2:30 - 4:30. Specific times may be arranged.
All interested students should join the zoom meeting with the link below on Monday, March 15th. Mrs. Potter will assign students to tutors as they enter and schedule them in a break-out room. Mrs. Potter will be monitoring all break-out rooms. The tutors are all studying a career path to become a full-time elementary teacher, have received training, and are excited to work with our students.
In order to give Mrs. Potter an idea of how many students would like to participate, please reply to this email with your student’s name, grade level, and subject of need. This is a great opportunity for our students to read aloud, practice math facts, or review concepts and assignments.
