Meet Our Counselor

Hello Fairmont families!

My name is Ms. Lam and I am the school counselor for this academic year. I completed my Masters and earned my PPS credential at University of La Verne. I am here to support students with any social emotional needs, academic needs, and to help students with their transition back to school. I find that when we take care of the emotional needs of students, they can focus better and succeed academically. When I am not counseling, I like to go camping, hiking, or take a scenic road trip. I am always up for an outdoor adventure but if the time and weather does not permit it, I love to stay in and care for my plants and dog. I also love to incorporate small acts of self-care into my daily life (ex: journaling, reading, stretching) that will help me become a better individual and counseling professional.
